Introducing new TersusPNW Software

https://mailchi.mp/tersus-gnss/tersus_may_newsletter_2020 With this newsletter, we are introducing our new TersusPNW Software. The TersusPNW software is a high accurate CORS Network management and positioning service software with optimized algorithms. The software can effectively model errors caused by ionosphere, troposphere and satellite orbit, and precisely estimate correction at the rover. It enables the rovers to achieve fast real-time positioning with centimeter accuracy. The stability and reliability of TersusPNW software has been approved by maintaining large-scale CORS network. TersusPNW software has a user-friendly interface and can support virtual grid and data stream forwarding. It also supports multi-method integrity monitoring along with user and mount point configuration. 7X24 hours operation with 99.9% output reliability can help users monitor base stations without any concerns of breakdown. Map rotation in Stakeout

Nuwa app has always been committed to favorable user interaction experience. During the staking process, we often find that we are still some distance away from the target point. At this time we need to go to the target point for staking, but a simple connection to the target point in the app is not enough. This line is not intuitive enough that can't directly tell us which direction should go and how many meters should walk. Therefore, in the previous versions of Nuwa, we added a large blue arrow to the stakeout interface. It will calculate the direction that the surveyor should move based on the azimuth of the compass and the target point in the controller. Although this indicates the direction intuitively to a certain extent, it is not the final goal for Tersus who strives for excellence. In the latest Nuwa version, we added the map rotation function, which can be turned on by selecting [Rotate map when staking] in config of the Stakeout interface. The meaning of map rotat

What can you do in Nuwa with a DXF file?

DXF is a file format developed by AutoCAD for data exchange between AutoCAD and other software. In the actual measurement process, we often get files in DXF format. They may be design files, the planner first design the building facilities, road or bridges on the desktop software, and then the surveyors stake out the field based on the DXF design files and mark out the location of the feature points; they may be a mapping file, which is drawn by the surveyor according to the results of the previous object collection, and now it is necessary to add new object collection on the original basis, or inspect and verify the old objects. As a good helper for surveyors, Nuwa app provides a variety of flexible application scenarios for these situations. If you need to stake out the design feature points in the DXF file and mark the location of the feature points on the ground, you can import it in Nuwa app via Import -> Other import, select the DXF file and import the point data to the stakin
